It was the feature films world premiere, a precursor to it's theatrical release scheduled for September. Deceptive was written and executive produced by Angelique Monét, President and founder of Greta Joanne Entertainment. The film is directed by Emmy award winner Roderick Giles, and executive produced by award winning playwright Edgar Chisholm. Shiek Mahmud-Bey (Nightfalls on Manhattan, Buffalo Soldiers, Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood), multi-media talent Angelique Monét (East New York), Jas Anderson (Brooklyn's Finest), and Meah Pace (TV's R U the girl), star in this sexy story of lust, greed, and fame. After building JRuby Records, music mogul James Walker (Mahmud-Bey), thinks he has it all. Without James knowledge, his right hand man Bennie (Anderson), grooms Vanessa Walker (Monét), to be the new queen of the label. James secretly signs Trina (Pace) to take the spotlight. As their passion begins, a deadly love triangle unfolds and threatens everyone involved.
During Festival de Cannes, 
Angelique Monét represented Greta Joanne Entertainment at the India film commission opening inaugural ceremony. After the commencement, Ms. Monét spoke with His Excellency Mr. Ranjan Mathal Ambassador of India to France in reference to co-productions in India. Monét also attended the Taiwan Cinema Event where she spoke with Michel 
Ching-long Lu Ambassador of Taiwan, in reference to co-productions for Greta Joanne Entertainment's slate of films. 
Seasoned film Producer Philo Pieterse enjoyed a conversation with Monét about the production of his upcoming feature film to be shot in South Africa, Winnie starring Terrance Howard and Jennifer Hudson. Monét spoke with Mads Mikkelsen about taking a role in the companies upcoming film Bitten and Scorned, an epic science fiction, romance-action story set in Brooklyn, NY. Bollywood super star Mallika Sherawat was happy to take some time to pose with sister diva Monét, during one of Variety Magazine's festival events. One of the festival favorites and all around tough guy, Jean-Claude Van Damme premiered his new feature film The Eagle Path at Cannes, but prior to the screening date Monét hung out with JCVD during his yacht party for the film and discussed a role for Jean-Claude in one of her up coming films.
